Botanical name:Dietes iridioides

This clumping evergreen Iris bears tall, narrow leaves to 30" tall and white flowers marked purple in the center on stalks up to 3' tall. This variety has stiffer, darker foliage than the bicolor form. It requires sun to part shade with little or no summer watering when established. -Monterey Bay Nursery

This evergreen shrub will grow 3'-4' tall and 4'-6' wide. It has large, gray leaves with purple flowers that bloom spring through summer.

Marguerite Daisy

Botanical name:Argyranthemum frutescens 'Butterfly'

This short-lived, fast growing rounding shrub grows 2'-3' tall and wide, smoothered with daisy-like flowers of yellow rays and yellow centers that bloom from spring through fall. In many areas, it is grown as an annual. Prolong bloom period by deadheading. This shrub does best in full sun with regular watering and more during hot days. It prefers well draining, fertile soil. Foliage is dark green with pointed leaves.
