Description
This attractive perennial has thick, leathery, fleshy, gray green leaves with scalloped edges. Margins turn red with more sun exposure. Clusters of red, yellow or pink flowers rise above foliage on stalks in winter. This plant grows 1.5' tall and wide. It tolerates full to part sun but can also be a houseplant. It needs sandy, well draining soil. Fertilize only once a year. Protect from wind and frost. Water only when soil is dry.
