Correa 'Ivory Bells'
White Australian Fuchsia
Description
This attractive and reliable plant is an evergreen shrub 4'-5' tall and wide. Creamy, white bell-shaped flowers bloom in fall through spring, attracting hummingbirds. This shrub has oval, 1" long, grayish green, hairy foliage. 'Ivory Bells' tolerates full sun in coastal areas but will need afternoon shade in warm, inland areas. It can grow in full shade under oaks. It does best with well draining soil. Once established, it needs occasional irrigation during summer.

Change spray sprinklers to low-flow bubbler or drip systems. Shrubs and trees are ideal candidates for this type of irrigation because the water is applied directly to the root zones.
