Cytisus X praecox 'Allgold'
Allgold Broom
Description
This rounded and compact deciduous shrub grows can quickly reach 5'-6' tall and wide. Leaves are small and green, densely covering the plant. Long sprays of pea-like, yellow flowers cover the plant in spring. It does best in full sun and is drought tolerant once it's established. It also tolerates ocean spray. This is a great plant for mass planting.

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.
