Description

Gulf Stream Heavenly Bamboo is a small, reliable shrub that reaches 3.5' tall and 3' wide. It tolerates full sun to light shade and needs regular watering, more during hot spells. Evergreen leaves emerge during spring in a vibrant red, changing to blue green in summer, then red in fall. Small white flowers appear in spring and summer. This plant is great for foundation plantings, for seaside areas, in mass plantings, by the pool. It tolerates urban pollution.

Water Saving Tip:

Change spray sprinklers to low-flow bubbler or drip systems. Shrubs and trees are ideal candidates for this type of irrigation because the water is applied directly to the root zones.
