Phormium tenax 'Tiny Tiger'
New Zealand Flax
Description
This miniature flax quickly reaches 2' tall and 3' wide. Upright foliage has creamy white margins with interior gray green color. 'Tiny Tiger' tolerates full sun in coastal areas but prefers afternoon shade in warm inland valleys. Leaf color tends to fade in sun, changing to bronze. 'Tiny Tiger' looks great in containers, is deer resistant and can tolerate wet soils. Yellow flowers on stalks appear in summer.
