Carex 'Snow Cap'
Snow Cap Sedge
Description
this selection has nearly all-cream to bright white, wide, strappy leaves with narrow green stripes. The striking variegation is much whiter than ‘Variegata’ but grows surprisingly well for a plant with so little green. It forms a dense, slowly spreading clump of deciduous, deer resistant foliage and has insignificant flowers. ‘Snow Cap’ easily complements many other shade perennials such as hostas, ferns, and heartleaf brunnera, brightening up containers and gardens with its light colored foliage.

Change spray sprinklers to low-flow bubbler or drip systems. Shrubs and trees are ideal candidates for this type of irrigation because the water is applied directly to the root zones.
