Bougainvillea 'Jamaica White'
Jamaica White Bougainvillea
Description
Bougainvillea 'Jamaica White' is an evergreen vine or shrub. It produces white, papery, petal-like bracts with pink margins which look like flowers in summer and fall. It is moderately vigorous, climbing to 30' in height. When the basic structure is establishing, it's important to tie stems to a fense or wall, since they have no means of attachment while young. This plant does best in full sun and is drought tolerant once it's established. A versatile plant since it can be used on hillsides or walls or columns.
