Bougainvillea 'White Madonna'
Bougainvillea
Description
This stunning vine quickly reaches 15'-30' wide but is less than 1' tall. White flowers (actually bracts) cover the plant in summer. It needs support if used on walls or trellises. This plant is also used for hillsides. It does best in full sun and the hotter, the better. It needs regular watering in desert areas and occasional watering in temperate climates. Foliage is evergreen. Watch out for thorns. Fertilize in spring.
